Tip #3 for those who have coverage through the VA or Medicaid

Hey everybody out t

here! How are we doing today? I hope that this video finds you doing well and enjoying Northern Michigan! Now Michiganders on Medicare, this is a continuation of tips that could save you thousands in 2021.

Now, we have already gone over looking at pharmaceutical companies for grants on some of those more expensive prescriptions that you may have that your Part D does not cover. We have also talked about comparing your Medicare Supplement premiums at least every 2-3 years because they can slowly creep up on you and you can always get the same coverage for a low premium. (In most cases).

Today, I am going to be talking to two specific types of folks who are in retirement, and that is, people on Medicaid and Veterans. So, if you are a Veteran or you are on Medicaid, there are some benefits that are available to you that you may not even know about and it does not cost you anything extra.

Saving Money for those who have coverage through the VA or Medicaid

First of all, if you are a Veteran, thank you very much for your service. If you are on Medicaid, I give you a lot of credit for doing what you can with the resources that you have. So what are these “extra benefits” that I am talking about. You have heard them; you have because Joe Namath does a very good job of explaining those on the TV. Right? You have heard Joe! A lot of you watched him play Football back in the day. But he talks about all of these benefits that you may be entitled to: Vision, Dental, Hearing and Over-The-Counter Allowance, which gives you extra money to purchase medical or health related products that are not necessarily prescriptions. Rides to doctors’ appointments, some folks will qualify for meal delivery, and some folks may qualify for gym memberships, healthy eating discounts.

A lot of different things that will give you extra benefits if you are a Veteran or if you are on Medicaid that you do not necessarily have through the VA, nor through Medicaid itself. So, you should be worrying about being outside and having fun with your friends, not about trying to make ends meet every month. These benefits could really help improve your retirement, so call us and we will give you a quick review to see if you qualify for these benefits. No obligation, right? That is what Joe says, No Obligation just give us a quick call, we would be happy to see if we can help you!

So, until I talk to you next time, have a great day!
